Top 5 Games from the PlayStation Livestream

The PlayStation live stream has just concluded and we have gotten a myriad of exciting new titles to look forward to over the next few years! So we have decided to give you the run down of our top picks from the live stream. Believe us when we say that picking a top 5 was definitely difficult!

5. Demon’s Souls Remake

We’ve known this game was going to be a launch title for a while, but no other details were previously revealed. Nothing official at least, just speculation. Finding out it’s going to be a full remake with proper graphics updates, rather than just a remaster with small touch ups, is the biggest piece of news for this game. Watching the trailer and seeing just how incredibly gorgeous it looks is absolutely jaw-dropping. The environmental detail in the forests and ruins alone are worth checking out, even if you aren’t interested in the game. The creatures shown were also breathtaking as well as horrifying. If this trailer doesn’t make you excited for the re-release of Demon’s Souls, or even the ps5 for that matter, then I don’t know what will.

Release Date: Unknown

4. Resident Evil VILLAGE

This longstanding series gets yet another game to add to their list. And this one looks to be the best one yet. Following the story of Ethan, carrying on from Resident Evil 7, this title has even more jumps, scares and horrifying creatures to keep us on the edge of our seats. Resident Evil Village seems to share some aesthetic similarities to Resident Evil 4, and that just makes us even more excited. We will have to wait till 2021 to get our hands on this one though, good thing there is a list of 20+ other Resi games to play in the meantime.

Release Date: 2021

3. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Though the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man was always likely to be focused on Miles Morales, we did not expect the announcement to be this soon! And also releasing this year no less! Seeing Miles dawn that iconic black and red Spider-suit is a sight to behold and is one that will surely make fans of the first game very excited. This is another great opportunity to swing through the streets of NYC, and with the power of the PS5, this will look better than ever! Time to dust of Marvel’s Spider-Man and play through it again…

Release date: Holiday 2020

2. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

What could be better than reliving our childhood memories with this iconic duo! Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a BRAND NEW adventure that has Ratchet and Clank try to find their way back together once separated. This duo have come so far together, so to see a brand new narrative with them apart is as exciting as it is sad. We cannot wait to play through this adventure and reunite this wise-cracking Lombax with his logical robotic companion. Now we just need a release date!

Release Date: Unknown

1. Horizon: Forbidden West

Horizon: Zero Dawn was an absolute masterpiece on the PS4 and quickly became one of Guerrilla Games best IPs, so having a sequel announced in such style was absolutely breathtaking. Being able to dive back into this world and discover an array of new robotic dinosaurs and other enemies. This trailer shows one new foe in particular who can also override these creatures, and we can only imagine what a fresh new challenge this will be. This trailer shows just how strong Aloy has become, staring down her foes with bow and arrow drawn.
